Reduce the graphical navigation buttons by 50% ?

I spent most of this day searching this forum and getting the bits needed for the 2.8 update. After several hours all is well minus one thing ; the graphical navigation.

It's a bit big http://anotherrandomday.com/?p=5594 <- for a gander.

I do not require custom graphics but would rather shrink them by 50%.

I have played with the navstyle.css while reducing the images by hald but all has been for naught.

Any ideas here?

I know what your talking about but have no idea for a quick/easy solution. I'd love to find smaller icons also. I like the default ones but just wish they were, as you said, about 50% smaller.

I tried mucking about with them once and after a long time decided to use the smallest ones that came with the set and just give up. At this point I'd almost prefer simple text navigation.

A idiot proof HOWTO for those of us with small comics would be nice.
